OP06 - Oglio south

The sinuous path of the river Oglio guides us in this pleasant journey, unfolding between olde-worlde sites, edges of wetlands rich in vegetation and aquatic fauna, and small villages that sprung up in the vicinity of the river.Among these, Canneto sull'Oglio, home to a major Ecomuseum, and Gazzuolo, with its magnificent Gonzaga arcades. Together with these villages, you will be able to visit elegant religious buildings and invaluable archeological sites, such as the excavations of Bedacrium near Calvatone. In its extraordinary variety, the route will also touch well-known villages such as Gazzuolo, Bozzolo e S. Martino dall'Argine, and the important nature reserves in the Parco Oglio Sud, thus ensuring a pleasant stroll to discover history, arts and nature.
