For years, it was the only theatre in the territory of Crema; it belongs to the Cremona Theatre System, an institution that gets the 5 most important theatres of the Province of Cremona together.
It is known all over Lombardy and Italy for its special scheduling, and in 22 years of activity it has hosted or “discovered” great actors such as: Moni Ovadia, Marco Paolini, Laura Curino, Ascanio Celestini, Sandro Lombardi, David Riondino, Paolo Hendel, Mario Pirovano, Marisa Fabbri, Bustric, Lella Costa, Piera degli Esposti, Franco Branciaroli, Fullin, Emanuela Grimalda, Bebo Storti, Aldo Busi, Cesar Brie (Argentina), Natalia Aspesi, etc.
Among the companies: Teatro Settimo, Kripton, Piccolo Parallelo, I Magazzini, Marcido Marcidoris, Transteatro, Koreja, Teatro Kismet, Pontedera Teatro, Teatro Libero di Palermo, drammateatro, etc.

The audience comes from the territory of Cremona as well as from the surrounding provinces of Milan, Brescia, Bergamo and Piacenza. Scheduling is entrusted to GianMarco Zappalaglio of Piccolo Parallelo Cecchi - Zappalaglio, a theatrical company that has been operating for over 30 years and is located in Romanengo; it is the only recognized Company of the Province of Cremona. Activities are carried out in collaboration with the Province of Cremona, Regione Lombardia (Lombardy Region), some surrounding Municipalities and some private sponsors.
